Dominican Republic - Resources & Relief

I'm raising funds for our ministry partners in the Dominican Republic! We have partnered with an orphanage and a village and have shared the Gospel to them, lead worship gatherings with them, prayed for them, and provided food in the past. This year, we are starting construction on outdoor latrines for Village 14. This village has 48 families in a remote part of the country, and they live in generational poverty. Most of the people in the village are born there and die there, never having left. There is currently one outdoor latrine for the 48 families, and it costs around $1400 to build an outdoor one with two stalls. They have no running water or electricity, and the government comes by weekly to fill up a community reservoir for the village to ration. This village has one church, and our goal is to build the latrine on the grounds of the church in order to assist these families. We will be returning there this year to deliver food bags and hold a worship service for them. We will pray over every family as well. The second partner I'm raising funds for is Pasitos de Jesus, a girls orphanage for those who have been sex trafficked. This is a nonprofit orphanage founded by a faithful Christian woman who still runs it. We also do a worship service for them, throw a "princess party" for the girls, and provide for the needs of the kitchen and house the girls live in. Thirdly, we invite students from a village to come in and roller skate, eat snacks, and hear the Gospel. We will hold a worship service again as before, and at the end, invite them to trust in Jesus. These funds are to feed the children and pay for the roller skate rental.

Personal Message

This is important to me because I have fallen in love with the people of the DR. I choose to lead this trip yearly because of how profoundly I have been moved by the faith of people, especially children, who follow Jesus and have virtually nothing to their name. They are what Scripture calls "the least of these," and yet, in God's Kingdom, they are the greatest in Heaven. I cannot wait to return this year and love on my friends there, teach them Jesus' love for them, and provide for needs that will bless them. Every single penny you give will make a profound impact on someone's life!

Mission Statement

My goal is to $2000 for a village and orphanage in the Dominican Republic so we can share the Gospel and provide for real needs in real time.
