Give & Grow is a week-long event providing an opportunity for the Lake Mead community to come together and financially support our united mission – making disciples for Jesus Christ through education and community. Lake Mead Christian Ministries is a faith-based non-profit organization. Since our beginning, we have served our local community by ensuring accessibility to our services. We want our education, childcare, and activities to be accessed by as many people as possible. At the same time, we are committed to continued development and improvement of our programs and facilities through careful stewardship of all resources. Whether you are connected to LMCM through the church, academy, childcare/preschool, or counseling center, we are all part of a unique community with a common cause – growing God’s kingdom.
Why are donations necessary?
External funding is always needed to strengthen the reach and effectiveness of nonprofits. Finding supporters who financially participate in the enthusiasm for our work is a necessary part of being a charitable organization. Give & Grow Week 2021
All nonprofits want to make the world better through their unique mission. Along with the passion and herculean efforts of staff, external funding is needed to strengthen the reach and effectiveness of nonprofits. Finding supporters who participate in the enthusiasm for their work is a necessary part of being a charitable organization. This year our annual ministry-wide fundraiser, Give & Grow Week, offers seven LMCM causes that can thrive with the support of donors: Support LMCM – funding general expansion of the entire ministry; LMCA Scholarships – making quality education accessible to everyone; LMCA Athletics, Visual & Performing Arts, and STEM Programs – extracurricular programs for our students is a priority; Lake Mead Wellness Center – Providing free or low-cost therapy to clients in need; Church at Lake Mead Building Fund – expanding the worship center and our impact on the city. Will you prayerfully consider financial partnership with us in one or more of our seven causes this year?
Where does my donation go?
Our long-term goal is to become financially sustainable. We are committed to stewarding all ministry resources with wisdom, to retiring existing ministry debt, and to expanding our existing ministry services to generate more revenue for the benefit of LMCM. All branches of the ministry - academy, church, childcare/preschool, and counseling - will benefit from the funds raised during Give & Grow Week 2021.
