Care for His Creation
Our purpose is to help fund supplies for local animal shelters so that they may better provide for the animals under their care, as well as raise awareness for animals in need of loving homes, all in the hopes of better care for God's creation and the creatures He has put us in charge of. Donations of either supplies that fall under our list of needed items or money donations will be given to the Nevada SPCA, a local non-kill shelter, to assist in their housing and care for stray animals in the Las Vegas area. Any money donated will be used to purchase beds, kibble, or hygienic items that are much needed within the shelter.
Personal Message
As stewards of God’s creation, we are given the responsibility to rule over it and treat His world with respect and dignity. Our project aims to tackle an aspect of the creation mandate that may be often overlooked. Stray animals run abundant in the large city of Las Vegas, and our hearts go out to the animals that need a loving home with food and a bed. As animal owners and lovers ourselves, this is why we felt called to help and provide for creatures that need it the most.

Lake Mead Christian Ministries is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the IRS, and gifts to The Joey Fund are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
