In most developing countries, a significant reason that sickness and diseases are spread is due to the lack of clean water. We both have had the privilege and opportunity to visit Guatemala three different trips and have seen this persisting issue first hand. Watching these dear people stay sick because of lack of access to clean water has been especially hard to see. We are grateful that our hearts have been burdened for the people in Guatemala.
Personal Message:
Our campaign is to raise money to partner with and buy from a company called Ecofiltro. This company creates water filters and sells them to use in countries where clean water is not accessible. We will be raising money to buy these filters and give them to struggling families and schools in Antigua, Guatemala. Since Ecofiltro began their school initiative in 2004, nearly a million children have benefited for this incredible social impact.
Our Mission:
To provide water filters to families, schools, and organizations to help stop the spread of parasites due to the unclean water in Guatemala.
